Euro-Asian Astronomical Society The International Astronomy Olympiad . . . . . The 1st Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad Irkutsk, Siberia, Russia       4–11. XII. 2005.

Schedule of preparing the Olympiad was very intensive, the preliminary documents (1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd announcements, the last information before the Olympiad) were regulary published just after their issuing.

48 students from 8 teams took part in the Olympiad:

KZ		Kazakhstan (town: Alma-Ata) - 2 students
SB		Siberia (Russia, central-asian part, towns: Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk) - 10 students
UR		East Ural (Russia, west-asian part, towns: Chelyabinsk, Lesnoy, Yekaterinburg) - 4 students
IK		Irkutsk region (host) - 9 students

That's a pity teams of Armenia, Iran, Singapore and observers from Taiwan team that planned to participate did not find such a possibility.
