Information after the Olympiad

APAO is a relatively new Olympiad which was founded in the spring 2005 as an international regional programme in line with the International Astronomy Olympiad. The 14th Asian-Pacific Astronomy Olympiad (XIV APAO) took place in November-December 2018 in Lijiang city (Yunnan province, China) on the base of the Yunnan Amateur Astronomers Association (YAAA).

The participants stayed in Lijiang Wangfu Hotel, at the Ancient Town District of Lijiang.

Theoretical and Practical rounds were held in auditoriums of the 1st school of Lijiang, and Observational round - at the school stadium.
