In 1975 Alexander Aronin graduated from Moscow Steel and Alloys Institute University. Since 1975. He works in the Institute of Solid State Physics Russian Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka, Moscow distr.). Ph.D, Dr. Sci., Prof. of Moscow Steel and Alloys Institute (Technological University) .

Research interest:

 

The first period of the research activity was devoted to investigation of metallic glasses: structure evolution, crystallization process etc. In course of these investigations she has found a formation of some amorphous phase in metallic glasses before the crystallization.
Since 1991 the scope of her interests is connected with nanocrystalline materials. The first nanocrystalline structure formed by crystallization of metallic glass has been published by G.Abrosimova, A.Aronin, V.Stelmukh in 1991 (Phys. of the Solid State (sov), 1991, ò. 33, ¹ 12, 3570-3576).
Last years the research activity is devoted to investigation of nanocrystalline structure and properties.
