• Deadlines:

  • Pre-application. Short report.
    
    
    • The deadlines for receiving by LOC Pre-Application documents:
      
      
      • Pre-application: October 6, 2021, 24h of local time (UT+02).
      • Late pre-application: October 2021, before application.
      
      
      Presenting the short report (see Supplementary Instructions N 10) is optional. Nevertheless, some infromation about the system of the National Olympiads (especially for the last two years) would be helpful for the IAO Committee and desirable for inclusion into the pre-application file.

    • The deadlines for receiving by LOC all application documents, personal data, scans of passports (or National ID) and photos of proposed contestants and team leaders (maybe with some extra persons for reserve):

        shifted to October 18, 2021, 24h of local time (UT+02).
      • Late application: October 25, 2021, 24h of local time (UT+02).

• Tentative schedule of the Olympiad

  • Friday, November 5 - Day of arrival to host towns at the participating countries

    All work at the rounds of all participants of any team will take place in the same auditorium in the host town of the participating country.

  • Saturday, November 6 - Day of online opening ceremony
  • Sunday, November 7 - Day of the theoretical round

    Round begins at 09:00 UT (for Eastern hemisphere) and 13:00 UT (for Western hemisphere).

  • Monday, November 8 - Day of the round with maps and images

    Round begins at 13:00 UT (for all teams).

  • Tuesday, November 9 - Day of the practical round, possible students departure

    Round begins at 09:00 UT (for Eastern hemisphere) and 13:00 UT (for Western hemisphere).

    Rounds are finished. After the round students may depart to their homes.

  • Wednesday, November 10 - Day of jury job
  • Thurday, November 11 - Day of jury job
  • Friday, November 12 - Day of finalization results
  • Saturday, November 13 - Day of online closing ceremony
