glass is a decorative, disaining, and sunlight protecive glass wih
special optical coating.
SONGCOLOR glass getting their colors by interference transmitted or
reflected sunlight.
The degree of
transmission (2 to 80%) and the ranges of transmission and
reflection are determined by the properties of coating.
SONGCOLOR glass can be used in designing and decoration of shop
windows, building facades and interiors, for sunlight protection,
heat insulation, and improvement of microclimate in premises. It can
be of use in furniture production for the creation of new furniture
designs and modernization of the existing ones.
Colored mirror glass better fits the interior than ordinary mirrors.
SONGCOLOR glass can afford colored light inside premises.

SONG Ltd. has
developed a unique technology of coating deposition onto large
overall-dimensions glass of SONGCOLOR type through special masks
with fairly fine pattern. The technology considerably expands the
sphere of colored glass application for decorative finish of
buildings both inside and outside.

SONGCOLOR mirror
glass is made from the best M1 polished glass of home production.

The glass can be cut to suit the customer's needs.
Note: titanium
nitride is a high-quality corrosion-resistant coating that looks
like coating of gold. This glass can be produced wih various
reflection ability (10 to 100%). It differs from other mirror
glasses "in immitation gold" by its unique properties and
can be used even in saunas.

optical glass SONG
Special optical glass
of SONG Ltd. can efficiently improve both the protection from
sunlight and heat insulation as compared to ordinary glass.
Special coatings on glass, developed by SONG Ltd., reflect or
transmit sunlight in the IR region while the transmission in the
visible region can be varied. This property makes the glass suitable
for heat insulation of premises.
When used in window panes, the glass can efficiently contribute to
heat and power saving in cold periods of the year.
Similar coatings developed by SONG Ltd. have fond application in
special reflectors in medical illuminant devices. For example,
surgery needs powerful light sources that would adequately
illuminate the operation place but would not cause undesirable
warming of tissues of a patient. Moreover, these sources should
provide sufficient illumination for a surgeon to perform longer
operations without intervals necessary for the surgeon's eyes rest.
The present-day halogen incandescence lamps considerably increase
the illumination power. Interference coatings can cut off the light
of the red and infrared spectral regions, which makes more than 60%
of the total power of incident illumination but does not contribute
to the visible illumination of an object. This cutting-off can
increase the illumination power of incandescence lamps by several
times and thus increase the illumination of an object without extra
warming-up of an illuminated area.
Complex optical coating on the reflector surface would transmit heat
(IR part of an electric lamp) and reflect light in the visible
spectral region, closely resembling natural sunlight. This property
provides the possibility of conveying a powerful flow of light to
the "operation area" during surgical operations without
warming up tissues by heat rays because the rays are transmitted
through the reflector surface instead of being reflected. Moreover,
the surgeon observes tissues in natural light without distortions
and can see very fine details that cannot be seen under conventional
illumination (e.g., capillaries under the skin).
These illumination systems can and do find wide application in
stomatology and other fields of medicine, in art when artificial
illumination closely resembling natural sunlight is required.
