Main research directions
- Development and characterization of novel materials with high ionic, electronic, or mixed conductivity, high electrochemical and catalytic activity, improved thermomechanical properties, and stability in a wide range of operating conditions, as well as obtaining fundamental data important for technological applications of novel materials;
- Development of technologically and economically viable methods for the production of high-efficiency electrodes, ceramic membranes, and various functional materials, including the creation of nano- and submicron composites, surface-modified ceramics, and functional layers with a gradient of porosity and composition; Studies of microscopic mechanisms responsible for electrochemical processes in electrodes with mixed conductivity, ceramic membranes, and multifunctional devices aimed at developing methods for their activation in order to improve the efficiency and increase the durability.
