Laboratory of Materials for Electrochemical Technologies (LMET) was created in July
 2013 in accordance with decision of the Grant Board of the Government of the Russian
 Federation for support of research projects implemented under the supervision of world-
leading scientists at Russian institutions of higher learning, research organizations of the
 governmental academies of sciences and governmental research centers of the Russian
 Federation (protocol No DL-13/16pr of 22.04.2013), announcing Vladislav V. Kharton
 as a winner of open competition pursuant to the Resolution No. 220 of the Government
 of the Russian Federation of 9.04.2010, and in agreement with  the RF Government 
grant conditions

and Agreement 14.B25.31.0018 with the Ministry of Education and Science of the 
Russian Federation. The main research focus of the Laboratory is centered on new
 materials and technologies for solid oxide fuel cells, ceramic membranes and high-temperature
 gas electrolyzers.
